What Punchframe is
Punchframe is photo booth software for operators who print photo keychains, magnets and buttons at events. It runs in the browser. Photos come in from guests' phones or your booth camera, get framed to your cutter, fill a print sheet, and come out ready to punch. You set up each event once, and the software handles the framing and the sheet layout while you run the booth.
It is built for anyone who shows up with a printer and a cutter: wedding and party booths, corporate activations, and favor businesses that make keepsakes on-site.
How an event works in Punchframe
1. Set up the event
Create an event, pick a circle or square cutter and enter its size. For circle cutters, add a printed border with names and a date, or send your client a link so they can choose the border and approve it before the day.

2. Guests send photos
Print the QR sheet and put it at the booth. Guests scan it, pick a photo on their phone and send it. No app to install. Photos from your booth camera can come in too, through a watch folder in Chrome or Edge.
3. Frame each photo
Face detection places each photo in your cutter shape so the whole group stays inside the cut. For guest uploads this runs on the guest's phone, and they can adjust the crop before sending.
4. Print the sheet
Framed photos fill the sheet slot by slot. On two-sided events, slots work in pairs for the front and back. When the sheet is full, print it from the browser.
5. Punch and hand out
The sheet carries cut guides from your settings, so you punch each keepsake and hand it over. History keeps a record of every printed sheet for the event.
Plans
Punchframe has three plans. Demo is free with unlimited events, the full framing and printing workflow, and the guest upload portal. It also lets you try every Business design tool, but prints carry a Punchframe watermark. Pro removes the watermark so you can run paid events, and adds email support. Business includes everything in Pro, plus printed borders, custom keychain backs, the client design and approval link, your own logo and colors on guest pages, per-event brand overrides and priority support.

Common questions
Do guests need to download an app to send photos?
No. The QR code opens a web page in the phone's browser. If the code will not scan, guests can go to punchframe.app/g and type the event code printed under it.
Which cutters does Punchframe support?
Circle and square cutters. You enter the cut size in millimetres with the bleed and guide offset, and the sheet layout is built from those values.
What is the difference between Pro and Business?
Pro removes the Punchframe watermark from prints. Business adds printed borders, custom keychain backs, the client design and approval link, and your own logo and colors on guest pages.
Can I try Punchframe before paying?
Yes. The Demo plan is free with unlimited events and includes the Business design tools, but prints carry a Punchframe watermark, so it is meant for testing rather than paid events.
Can I pause guest uploads during an event?
Yes. Turn the portal off from the event page and anyone who scans the code is told that uploads are paused.
