Create a key
In your account, open AI assistants and create an API key. You see it once, so copy it somewhere safe.

Connect Claude Code or Codex
Paste one setup command into your terminal. Your assistant now has Punchframe as a tool.

Tell it what event you need. It checks your options, builds the event, and gives you a link to open it.

Connect in one command
Pick your assistant and paste the command into your terminal, the text window where Claude Code and Codex run (Terminal on a Mac).

What it can and can't do
It can
- List your events and read their settings
- Create new events, or copy one you already have
- Edit paper, layout, shape, borders and sides
- Turn the guest portal on or off and set its text, colors and links
It can't
- Delete or reset events
- See, move or delete photos
- Send email to you or your clients
- Charge you or anyone else
Your key only reaches your own events. Your plan's limits apply exactly as they do in the app, so a feature your plan doesn't include stays off.
Questions
- Is it safe to connect an AI assistant to my account?
- Your API key only reaches your own events. The assistant can list, create and edit events, but it cannot delete or reset them, touch guest photos, send email or charge anything.
- Does it cost extra?
- No. Punchframe does not charge for AI assistant access. You use your own Claude Code or Codex subscription.
- Which plans include AI assistants?
- The Pro and Business plans. Plan limits apply the same way they do in the app.
- How do I revoke a key?
- Open AI assistants in your account and revoke the key. It stops working right away. You can create a new one at any time.
- Are there usage limits?
- Each key can make up to 60 calls per minute. A normal request uses a few calls, so you won't notice the limit in day-to-day use.
